In this video the animal makes multiple
‘errors’ on several doors while searching for the correct route. The
RAPC electronics will automatically capture the exact times and the
door numbers of the errors as well as the time of the correct passage.

In this video the animal makes multiple
‘errors’ (again) while searching for the correct route. The RAPC
electronics will automatically capture and save the exact times and the
door numbers of the errors, eliminating the almost impossible task of
recording these events using a stop watch and a clip board. The data is
saved in a file, further eliminating any possibility of mistakes during
manual data transcription.

In this clip you can see one entire run (trial). The animal exits the start house, makes one error, explores briefly in the first room, makes another error and passes into the second room. The animal makes one error in room 2, passes into room 3, makes two errors, advances into room 4, makes no error there and quickly passes into the final room 5 to eat the reward. All events (errors and passes) are automatically captured by the electronics and stored in a computer file. | |

This video is a collection of a variety of clips of animal behavior in the chamber. In the two ‘performance’ trial runs at the end of the video the animal moves through the chamber reaching the reward in just a few seconds with zero errors. All successful door passes are recorded with the same millisecond accuracy as any possible errors making the time, door and count data for statistical analysis very accurate. | |
